The art of arranging sounds in time so as to produce a continuous, unified, and evocative composition, as through melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre.

As life-long patrons of our local music scenes (Houston and Chicago) we've both been exposed to some of the greatest musical talent that our cities have to offer. We both have our share of bands who, through their music, have provided an escape, a way to believe, and, in some cases, a way of life. Whereas distance traditionally kept unsigned and independent bands from branching out and reaching audiences outside of their region, the onslaught of the internet has allowed them to reach a mass audience and simultaneously given music fans like ourselves the opportunity to be impressed by an infinite amount of bands from places that we are yet to venture. It's with this technology that we intend to showcase the best indie music from all over the world.

This site is a tribute to the bands and the people of the international indie scene who have made a serious impact on us and have the potential to do the same to the rest of the world.
